After releasing their second album Composite a little over a year ago, Monogrenade unveils a video for Le fantôme and announces dates for their European tour following their participation in the 2015 FrancoFolies de Montréal.
Director Kristof Brandl (Antler) and director of photography Christophe Collette, with the help of stunning visual effects by SHED, challenges our perception of reality and memory by compiling images that are both ghostly and enthralling. The story follows a man who, having lost everything, receives a futuristic injection that allows him to relive his past.
Monogrenade will be part of the Tournée des Francos this year, alongside Belgian singer Antoine Chance and French trio Baden Baden. The band will also perform in several other cities throughout France.

The FrancoFolies de Montréal recently announced their in-door lineup, and Monogrenade will be doing a show as part of the Tournée des Francos.
The tour’s concept is simple: three artists from three different countries perform in all three FrancoFolies festivals. Monogrenade will share the stage at L’Astral with Belgian singer Antoine Chance and French trio Baden Baden on June 13th. Tickets are on sale now on the FrancoFolies’ website.
The three artists will then continue the Tournée des Francos in Spa, Belgium and La Rochelle, France.

While they were in France in November, Monogrenade taped a performance of their song Le Fantôme at the renown La Frette Studios. Check it out on youtube.
Monogrenade’s latest album, Composite, is being praised by French magazine Les Inrockuptibles. Indeed, Thomas Burgel says that this second album confirms Monogrenade’s greatness, and gives it 4 stars and a half (out of 5). Boooom! That means you should definitely purchase Composite (bandcamp / iTunes) if you haven’t done so yet.
The band will be playing in Chicoutimi on October 10th, and will fly to France in November for a mini tour. Visit the Shows page for all the tour dates.
